Understand the unit
A product item may be recurring or usage-based. Its unit can represent an Agent, number, minute, message, token, character, or another capability-specific quantity. Before adding an item to a customer plan, confirm:- the exact item ID and description
- whether it is recurring or usage-based
- the unit of measure
- included quantity
- overage behavior and price
- which channels, providers, or directions it covers
Build a customer plan
- Open the reseller or partner Plans area.
- Create or select the plan.
- Add only product items supported by the current catalog.
- Define included quantities and customer pricing.
- Connect the matching provider product and price when customer billing is enabled.
- Test representative usage and confirm it appears under the expected item.
- Verify the customer-facing plan before making it available.
Change a live plan carefully
A plan change can affect future subscriptions, existing customers, access, and overage billing. Review which customers are attached, how the billing provider handles the change, and whether the new item requires a feature or channel that is not yet configured.
